Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the Avalanche inscription minting protocol.

Inscriptions on Avalanche represent structured metadata written directly into the blockchain calldata (ASC-20 standard). Unlike traditional smart contract tokens, inscriptions utilize transaction data directly, which makes them highly decentralized, immutable, and extremely cost-effective to store on-chain.

To mint, simply click "Connect Wallet" at the top of the page, select your Web3 provider (such as MetaMask or Core Wallet), choose the desired quantity of inscriptions (up to 10 per transaction), and click the "Mint Inscription" button. You will be prompted to sign and authorize the transaction through your wallet extension.

We support all EIP-1193 compatible Web3 wallets connected to the Avalanche C-Chain network. This includes MetaMask, Avalanche's native Core Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet, and Ledger hardware wallet configurations via browser extensions.

Due to Avalanche's high-speed consensus mechanism and low-overhead sub-second block finality, gas fees for writing calldata inscriptions are significantly lower than other layers, typically costing less than $0.05 to $0.15 in AVAX equivalent per transaction.
